Danna is originally from New York but “transplanted” quickly due to her father’s military service in the United States Air Force. About the time she started school her father retired from service and they moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida. In 1970, her family relocated to a safer haven in the middle of the state in Leesburg, where they became the new owners of Lum’s Restaurant – now known as Wolfy’s. Her family lived in Orange Blossom Gardens, where the long palm tree lined drive once lit up at night with blue, green and red lights serve as a landmark and memory.

She first worked with The Villages when Sharon Morse called her in the mid 1980’s looking for carpet, blinds and wallpaper when she worked at Decorating Den. Around 2000, Danna entered the world of real estate, first in timeshare sales for Sheraton Vacation Villas, next selling homes for a developer in Leesburg, and finally joining the general real estate market. Prior to joining Properties of The Villages, she sold sunrooms, replacement windows and bathroom makeovers to Villagers for a local home improvement company. She has now followed her sister here to sell homes in The Villages.

Danna met and married her high school sweetheart, who is to this day still her best friend. They have been blessed with two wonderful sons, a fantastic daughter-in-law and the most beautiful grandson ever. They are still hopeful about daughter-in-law #2 for their other son and for additional grandchildren. Together, Danna and her family enjoy many outdoor activities such as fishing and boating, the beaches, hunting, college football, golf NASCAR, riding bikes, walking, cookouts and some travel. They also enjoy food, as both of their sons are outstanding cooks in the kitchen!
